What is Pass Plus? The Pass Plus scheme is designed to make you a better driver and so help you avoid being part of this statistic. One in five newly qualified drivers will have an accident within their first year on the road.
What does it involve? It involves a few more lessons after you have passed the practical test in the form of six specially designed driver training modules. With NO TEST to take at the end of it.
How long will it take? Usually the six module course takes six hours, however as everyone learns at different rates it depends on many factors.
What will i gain? You can get CHEAPER CAR INSURANCE . Pass Plus is backed by various insurance companies who can offer you a lower premium. Also more experience in different and varied situations that will add to the skills you have already learnt.
The Pass Plus Modules
On Motorways
Motorways places greater demands on the driver's skills, observation, anticipation, planning and concentration.
In all weather
Learn how to deal with different driving conditions. This module is a theory session, put into practice in other modules if the opportunity arises.
Out of Town
This module is a practical session looking at the main differences between town driving and country driving.
At night
How to read the road in the dark. In town, in rural areas and on motorways and dual carriageways. This is a practical session when possible.
On dual carriageways
This is a practical module that takes place on two or three lane carriageways. In town and in rural locations.
In Town
Learn how to cope with town driving at some of the busiest times of day. In towns and areas you would of not necessarily driven in before.
